BENOTTI Bikes Warranty & Crash Replacement

Guarantee from ax-lightness composites GmbH for the brands BENOTTI Bikes and ax-lightness for carbon components

At ax-lightness composites GmbH, you receive a voluntary manufacturer's warranty of 6 years.

Included in this warranty are carbon components (frames, framesets, handlebars, seatposts, etc.) of the BENOTTI and ax-lightness brand: ax-lightness composites GmbH grants the original purchaser a six (6)-year warranty on the structural integrity of frames or framesets for the original purchaser from the date of purchase. A frameset is a BENOTTI brand frame equipped with a BENOTTI brand rigid fork. You must be the original owner of the BENOTTI bike and can make a warranty claim to us for up to 6 years from the date of purchase.

ax-lightness composites GmbH reserves the right to limit the warranty service to the country in which the product was purchased. We will repair defective frames or forks or replace them with a suitable successor model. Replacement with a successor model may be necessary as we cannot keep unlimited stocks. In any case, we will endeavour to provide a product that is as similar as possible to the original product.

In the event of a warranty claim, the owner of the bicycle must bear the costs of rebuilding, return shipping and, if applicable, customs duties.

What does the 6-year warranty not include?

Shock absorbers, suspension forks and suspension parts do not fall under the definition of a frame or frameset. The bearings on full-suspension frames and damage to the paintwork are also excluded.
BENOTTI brand aluminium bicycles are excluded from the 6 (six) year warranty.

The above 6 (six)-year warranty does not apply to damage caused by improper or inappropriate use as described on our website for the respective product, such as neglect of the product (inadequate care and maintenance), modifications to the frame or fork (e.g. engravings or paintwork), attachment and modification of additional components not expressly approved by us or replacement of the components installed by us on delivery with components of a different type, falls, overloading, jumps or other types of overloading.

Other components and products of the BENOTTI and ax-lightness brand and all components from third-party manufacturers (e.g. suspension elements, brakes, rear derailleurs) are not covered by this warranty. However, a specific warranty from the third-party manufacturer may apply. Information on this can be found on the third-party manufacturer's website.
