We have utilised our many years of experience in carbon production to develop the new ULTRA series wheelsets. The ULTRA components developed by our experts incorporate all the accumulated expertise from our various in-house production fields (cycling, automotive, skiing, etc.). These series parts combine the best materials from all production fields into one component.
The very stiff 20 carbon blade spokes used give the wheel outstanding performance and make it an absolute racer without compromise. Light, stiff, aerodynamic and stable are the characteristics of the ULTRA series - perfect for uncompromising sprints and hard-fought cyclocross and gravel races!
The aerodynamic design with 45 mm profile height and 30 mm outer width gives the wheelset excellent riding characteristics. The bulbous shape creates high aero stability, which pays off with low steering influences even in strong crosswinds. The generous inner rim width of 24 mm allows the tyre to unfold well, thereby increasing performance and comfort compared to narrower rims. The rim width is optimised for road bike tyres from 28 mm. The wheelset is supplied tubeless-ready, so that the fitting of tubeless-compatible tyres is possible without any problems. However, the wheelset can of course also be used with inner tubes. The shiny RAW UD glossy finish together with the elegant laser-cut decals round off the high-quality appearance of the wheelset.
The in-house ax-lightness ULTRA disc hubs and the freehub body with ratchet system installed in the ULTRA series are equipped with ceramic bearings. As with the entire wheelset, the focus was on maximising stability while reducing weight and rolling resistance. The double-cross spoke pattern with 20 carbon blade spokes per wheel distributes the load on the rim evenly and enables extremely stiff and durable wheels that ensure maximum propulsion in sprints.
The weight, including tubeless rim tape, is just 1180 grams (+/-5 %), making the ULTRA 45C CX Disc Ceramic the ideal racer for flat, hilly and mountainous stages on the road as well as for gravel and cyclocross.
