The FUOCO CARBON ULTRA Special Edition No. 1
This special paint job for our 20th anniversary of BENObikes is limited to 100 pieces. Now with the new faster, lighter and more precise SRAM Red AXS New groupset with power meter and ceramic bearings. The good sales figures of the FUOCO Disc Carbon have encouraged us to make this frame lighter and stiffer using other materials. All parameters were considered and the result was the new FUOCO ULTRA CARBON, manufactured in Duderstadt.
The frame is made from 14 different carbon fibre types and weighs approx. 730 grams at a frame height of 54 cm. The extremely lightweight AXAC1 handlebar unit is fitted. The handlebars have a short reach of 75 mm and a compact drop of 127 mm. In addition, we have harmoniously shaped the handlebar curve so that you can easily reach the brake/shift levers from all grip positions at any time.
The full integration of the cables and lines and the newly designed upper handlebars in a wing-like design offer little surface area for the wind to attack. The modified design provides an even more comfortable grip. It is also possible to support the forearms like on a trailer and ride in a particularly aerodynamic position.
The handlebar is supplied with a proprietary computer mount that is compatible with all current manufacturers.
The result of the developments is not only convincing in simulations, but also very impressive on the road! The bike impresses with its even higher bottom bracket and headset stiffness than before. When sprinting, the bike inspires with its willing propulsion and downhill it can be manoeuvred very directly and in a controlled manner even through tight bends.
