The full-carbon clincher ULTRA 30C Disc Ceramic is one of the "non plus ULTRA" in wheel construction!
We have put our many years of experience in carbon production to good use and developed the new ULTRA series wheelsets. The ULTRA components developed by our experts incorporate all the accumulated know-how from our various in-house production fields (cycling, automotive, skiing, etc.). These series parts combine the best materials from all production fields into one component.
The carbon blade spokes used give the wheel outstanding performance and make it an absolute racer without compromise. Light, stiff, aerodynamic and stable are the characteristics of the ULTRA series.
The aerodynamic and wind tunnel-optimized design with 30 mm profile height and 28 mm outer width gives the wheelset excellent riding characteristics. The bulbous shape creates a high level of stability, which pays off with low steering influences even in strong crosswinds. The generous rim width of 21 mm allows the tire to unfold well, thereby increasing performance and comfort compared to narrower rims. The rim width and rim width are optimized for road bike tires from 25 to 32 mm wide. The wheelset is delivered tubeless-ready, so that the installation of tubeless suitable tires is possible without any problems. Of course, the wheelset can also be used with tubes. The shiny RAW UDIMD finish together with the discreet black or white decals round off the high-quality appearance of the wheelset.
The in-house ax-lightness ULTRA disc hubs and the freehub body with ratchet system installed in the ULTRA series are equipped with ceramic bearings. As with the entire wheelset, the focus was on maximum stability combined with reduced weight and low rolling resistance. The double-cross spoke pattern with 20 carbon blade spokes per wheel distributes the load on the rim evenly and enables extremely stiff and durable wheels that ensure maximum propulsion in sprints.
The weight including tubeless rim tape is just 1050 grams (+/–5 %), which makes the ULTRA 30C Disc Ceramic the ideal racer, especially for mountainous stages.
