Our engage carbon components do not necessarily arouse emotions with their unusual naming, but much more so with their technical data. 6 stands for the sixth element in the periodic table:carbon, from which the precious fibers of the handlebar originate and give it its special technical properties.
The ergonomics of the handlebar play an important role, especially on extended tours, to prevent premature fatigue of the muscles and tension in the neck area. Our engage bars clearly follow the premise "form follows function". With an ergo-reach of 85 mm, we create a comfortable seating position for the extrended basic endurance ride. The flat, aerodynamic shape of the top of the bar is a little narrower to offer less sail area to the wind and the slightly flared drops allow more freedom of movement when it comes to the decisive seconds in the final spring.
The RB-6 Aero is available in 400, 420 and 440 mm. With a width of 400 mm, the engage RB-6 weighs just 210 grams and that whilst offering best stiffness values!
