Our robust all-rounder for road and gravel use!
We have used our many years of experience in rim construction with our state-of-the-art rims from ax-lightness and also applied it to the carbon rims of our engage by ax-lightness wheels.
The robust rim design of the engage 35C Evo Disc with a profile height of 35 mm and an outer width of 28 mm gives the wheelset outstanding performance both on the road and in gravel use. The generous jaw width of 21 mm allows the tyre to expand well and thus increases performance and comfort compared to narrower rims. The rim width is optimised for road tyres from 28 mm width up to 45 mm wide gravel tyres. The wheelset is delivered tubeless-ready, so that the installation of tubeless-compatible tyres is possible without any problems. Of course, the wheelset can also be used with tubes. The shiny RAW UD finish together with the discreet black Waterslide decals round off the high-quality appearance of the wheelset.
As with the rim, the focus of the engage 35C EVO Disc's robust centrelock hubs is on maximum stability and reduced weight. The crossed 1:1 spoke pattern with 24 Pillar 1420 Aero StraightPull knife spokes per wheel distributes the load on the rim evenly and makes for extremely stiff and durable wheels. All EVO series wheelsets feature external spoke nipples. This facilitates maintenance without time-consuming tyre removal.
The weight incl. tubeless rim tape is only 1430 grams (+/- 5%), which predestines the engage 35C Evo Disc as an optimal all-round wheelset for use on both road and gravel bikes.
