ax-lightness handlebar stem unit AXAC1
Making good things even better: that's what drives our engineers every day! This ax-lightness road bike cockpit is even lighter than the ax-lightness EAC1 thanks to the use of certain fiber materials and specific manufacturing techniques.
This stem/handlebar unit is lighter (from 275 g) and even more aerodynamic than its predecessor. The handlebars have a short reach of 75 mm and a compact drop of 127 mm. We have also harmoniously shaped the handlebar bend to ensure that the brake/shift levers can be easily reached from all grip positions. The full integration of the cables and lines and the newly designed upper handlebars in a wing-like design offer little surface area for the wind to attack.
The modified design enables an even more comfortable grip in the top link position than its predecessor. It is also possible to support the forearms like on a trailer and ride in a particularly aerodynamic position. The handlebars are supplied with a proprietary computer mount that is compatible with all common manufacturers and also saves weight compared to the ax-lightness EAC1 handlebar/stem unit. The cockpit weighs from 315 g for size 380*100, complete with computer holder and reduction sleeve.
